These verses, known as the Rapture Verses, are our blessed hope of being with our Lord at the appropriate time that God selects.  But there are also other verses that refer to God's people being "kept from" or "taken out of" tribulation.  Even examples of God taking people, before they die, to heaven. Grab your Bibles and reference the following:

Genesis 5:24

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; For God took him."

Only reference in chapter of "God took him" rather than "and he died"

2 Kings 2:11

"And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

Again, taken to heaven before death.

Matthew 24:40-42

"Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women will be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.  Watch therefore: For ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

Some will be taken, some will be left.

Mark 13:20

"And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days."

Tribulation will be shortened for God's people only.

Luke 21:36

"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

We will escape the worse parts.

John 14:3

"And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

He will be back for you.

1 Corinthians 15:52
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet will sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

In the twinkling of an eye.

Revelation 2:22

"Behold I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds."

Unless they repent.

Revelation 3:10

"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

Keep commands, be kept from tribulation.

Revelation 4:1

"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking to me; which said, come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter."

Come up hither.

Revelation 7:14
"These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

 "Came out of tribulation"

Revelation 11:12
"And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, come up hither,.  And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

Come up hither.
