Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic are languages that do not translate well into English.

Some words either do not have an English counterpart, or the rough translation does no justice to the original text.

These  studies will capture the spirit of what God was saying to the original transcribers of his word. The verses will change from time to time.

Matthew 24:36-42

36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only.

37) But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.

38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the son of man be.

40) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42) Watch therefore: for ye no not what hour your Lord doth come.

36- Before his second coming and after the beginning of the last seven years of these last days, Jesus will come in the clouds to Rapture his church.  When that will happen is known only by God.

37- The days of Noah were characterized as a people who largely forgot God and were only living for themselves.

38- All life was normal and people ignored the warnings of Noah and his family, not believing that God would judge his creation.

39- Not only will the world be shocked at his acts, but these verses also verify the Flood and judgments of God were literal events, unless you think Jesus was a liar, you better believe his words, you can't claim him as your savior and not believe in the flood, it is not logical.

40-41) Illustrates the Rapture of the church clearly, At his actual 2nd coming, he will not be taking and leaving anyone.  He will be defeating satan and judging all mankind.

42- Let him find you at work, not seduced by the pleasures of this world
